                                                            Puppy Sales Agreement

​

Breeder States:

*This puppy is a purebred and the sire and dam listed on the registration form are the true parents.

​

*Puppy is of good health and temperament at time of sale.

​

*Puppy has received standard preventative vaccinations and wormings before leaving and buyer has been provided with documentation of these at time of transfer.

​

*Breeder has had puppy vet checked and any concerns or defects have been presented to the buyer before time of transfer and are documented in the puppy’s individual exam report

​

Breeder does not cover:

​

**Parasites, either internal or external. All precautions have been taken to assure your pup does not have parasites at time of delivery.  However, some parasites can stay dormant until the pet is in a stressful situation (Ex. Moving to a new home), and most parasites can be easily picked up after delivery

.

**Heart Murmurs of Grade 2 or less.  These minor murmurs are often outgrown and are generally of no threat to the longevity or quality of life of your puppy but should be noted and monitored.

​

**Minor Hernias.  Minor hernias should pose no threat to the health of your pet and can be corrected at time of spay/neuter if need be.

​

**Undescended Testicles.  The puppy is not to used for breeding and the testicles will be removed at time of neutering.

​

**Factors which may be caused by environment such as allergies, thyroid dysfunction, localized demodex and autoimmune issues.

​

**Hypoglycemia.  This is caused by low blood sugar from not eating enough or frequently enough.  Signs of hypoglycemia include lethargy, weakness, and lack of coordination.  CONTACT YOUR VET IMMEDITELY……….. THIS IS AN EMERGENCY SITUATION.  Give sugar water and go immediately to a vet.

**Kennel Cough.  Kennel cough by itself is not life threatening and like a cold, needs to run its course. However, supportive care may be needed to prevent secondary infections.

​

**Guarantee does not cover what are considered normal issues due to the structure of the breed.  It is expected the buyer has educated themselves on the health and care issues related to this breed and/or asked questions of the breeder.  Breeder will gladly discuss these issues and answer questions. Dachshund and Beagle backs are not guaranteed.

​

Buyer Understands:

** It is suggested that you have your vet examine puppy within 72 hours of sale.  This is for your protection and mine.

​

**The only circumstance that will allow a refund of sale price, or a part there of, is a claim of an unfit pup with a written statement from your vet.  This statement must have pup’s microchip number noted on it.  Statement will note the condition or defect and the effect it will have on the pup’s quality of life or longevity.  The document must be presented within 72 hours of transfer.   Pup, vet’s document, all sales paperwork, and AKC papers will be returned if a refund is required.  ***NO REFUNDS after 72 hours post sale***

** Buyer is responsible for all veterinary expenses from time of transfer forward.

​

**To guarantee your puppy is protected from any accident or unexpected illness when they first go home, I offer 30 days free Trupanion Insurance.  There is no cost during the trial, and no commitment to continue.  Though not required, I recommend staying on the insurance, as puppies are three times more likely to see an unexpected, expensive event than older dogs.  Although I guarantee the health of your pup, Trupanion will guard against any genetic or hereditary issues and breed related problems that cannot be completely protected against.  Activation of your Trupanion trial must be done within 24 hours of puppy pick up.

​

**Behavior and good temperament will be influenced by both good genetics and environment.  Improper training and neglect will spoil good genetic temperament.  Breeder is not responsible for behavior or temperament issues of puppy after it has been with the buyer 14 days.

​

**Unless noted below, this puppy is being sold as a pet and is to be spayed or neutered.  It is being sold LIMITED REGISTRATION.  Pups produced by limited registrations parents are not eligible for registration.

​

**Any signs of abuse or neglect will void any and all guarantees.

​

*If at any time you are unable to keep this pet, the dog is to be returned to me for rehoming or discuss any plans you have of rehoming the pet with a friend etc.   If seller takes dog back, buyer understands no monetary compensation or replacement puppy will be offered.

​

 Conditional Health Guarantee:

**This puppy is guaranteed for a period of two years from date of sale against conditions that affect the longevity or quality of life that are of a congenital nature. 

​

**To make a claim, buyer will provide the opinions in writing of TWO UNRELATED vets describing the diagnosis and prognosis for a quality life.  Breeder is entitled to an opinion from their vet at their expense.  Documents must have microchip number noted on them and all sales paper and AKC registrations must be presented at time claim.

​

**If pet dies within the guarantee period, buyer must provide a necropsy report at their expense with the microchip number noted on it.  Breeder is entitled to a second opinion at their expense.

​

**Buyer understands no refund will be given, and upon return of pet and all supporting and sales documents, the pet will be replaced with a pup out of the next two available litters.  There is no promise the replacement will be out of the same parents.  Failure to choose a pup from next two litters will constitute forfeiture of a replacement.

​

**No replacement will be given for a dog euthanized without breeder’s consent.  Exception will be made to prevent undo suffering if two reasonable, documentable attempts have been made to reach the breeder.  Reasonable attempts include missed phone calls, messages left, texts, and emails.

​

**Any signs of abuse or neglect, or a dog sold on limited registration that has been bred will void any and all guarantees by the breeder.
